Its weird, I was never a big fan of Love Boat except for a massive crush on Julie (Lauren Tewes) The show was fluffy and had too much Charo. He had a massive 50 year career, but after Love Boat he just got type cast into the same roles.



I also thought that the captain was a serial killer.

Hahaha I forgot about Charo. And yeah, any amount of Charo was too much Charo.

I used to love watching this and Fantasy Island with my Mom when I was a kid.

Right. It's a little old for me but I do remember they were almost interchangeable. Same network one after the other?

I used to baby sit on Saturday nights - ABC, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, then SNL On NBC. I got paid $10.
