Been trying to dial in my car for what seems like forever. Sometimes you just gotta leave well enough alone I suppose. I’ll be pulling my QJet and reinstalling my Holley, with my tail between my legs no doubt.

You should go to master meats. Of you're going to pay for it you might as well get superior quality

I'll translate :

He usually flies around in a quinjet, but he uninstalled the AI "Holley", and has been reduced to trying to call Vision on a rotary phone to try and get help.

Well, he didn't have meningitis, just gout, which makes this all kind of have a funny ending.

Pretty serious, just relieved that it wasn't far worse alternatives. Plus he was in need of a bit of a health wake-up call.

Awesome.

Doesn't red wine help with Gout?

If it doesn't I don't want to know.

Red wine exacerbates gout - as does everything associated with good living, sorry.

I've been dealing with Gout for years now. The medication they put you on lets you eat normally except for red wine, which interferes with the meds (actually all alcohol does but especially red wine). That is the only thing I have really had to give up due to the condition.

My 17 year old has been diagnosed with gout, that is a pretty #### hand to be dealt in your late teens. He's not much of a drinker, but we still watch red meat etc.

Newfoundland being half an hour off the rest of the world is never not irritating.

Pick a whole hour in either direction.

It’s 2021.

I seriously hate listening to someone talk who drops “like” multiple times in every sentence. Gtfo.

Like, don't blame 'like' on kids these days, says sociolinguist

Misunderstood little word deserves more respect, says Alexandra D’Arcy, who studies the history of like

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...uist-1.3992564

Despite this article, I do not like the constant use of like - but it seems to be used mainly in informal talk.

Who’s “blaming kids these days”? That filler had been around forever.

Certainly not just young people. And certainly not correlated to any socioeconomic standing as near as I can tell. Just so obnoxious.
