I apologize to the Chinese government, and ask that you please accept Hollywood as a gift.

No mention in the trailer that this was directed by Chloe Zhao who just won the Oscar for you know best director?
I assume this is due to the fact that this trailer was probably done well before she won the Oscar. This movie was suppose to premier before Nomadland.
I also don't really think anyone cares? I have no idea what a Zhao is but I know who Jon Snow is and this trailer looks good.

Yeah that is strange. Not sure what the details are of who gets to make what casting decisions between Marvel and Sony.
It's not a Spider-Man movie, it's a Spiderverse movie which Sony has total control over and doesn't connect to the MCU at all. So actors crossing over don't matter much

I didn't realize it was a solo Kraven film, not with Spiderman (although, I'm sure the plan is to bring them together at some point).

I don't know anything about this project, except that Kevin Smith said that he created it with unabashed fanservice as a priority. If there was a weird Masters of the Universe artifact, he was going to lean into it.
