And of course he scores now 😂. Still useless.

Been strong all game. One of the few bright spots.

Wish our game plan was to put lots of pucks on him this game. Oh well, what hockey guru could possible predict he would be shakey his first game back after a concussion.
Better over pass and miss the net. Solid plan.

I would love to know what happened with Gaudreau.
People can say "they figured him out", but that's all horse####. His compete isn't there anymore.

They'll win Nye. Then be all hung over and lose the next.

TBH it looks like he's given up on the team.
I know its picking at straws but his goal celebrations aren't anywhere like they used to be in past seasons.

You guys sure handle losing very, very poorly. It's a long season, this many peaks and valleys must burn you out.
How about just a simple.... on to the next one?
Resorting to "we're terrible! blow it up!" after every loss (even after a bad period) gets old, fast.

I do think it’s for the best to move him but I have no idea what the return would be.

That makes sense.
I guess for him it was a strong game with a 0 in the +/- column. At -19 on the season it has to be considered a solid outing.

Off ice. To be amongst the best you have to be in peak physical form, or you'll start to break down as you get to your mid-20's/30's. Nutrition, alcohol and other extra curricular uses need to be controlled or eliminated or the body will just break down more and more.
He'll still be miles ahead of the average person, but he should fighting to be the best in the league, and that will get harder and harder as he gets older if he isn't 100% committed.

That's a tough metric to use though. The Oilers looked like one of the best NHL teams for 5 weeks in October but we know that story.
