I'm all for cheering, absolutely, but the wave gets in the way of my view of the game. I just disagree with it on principle.

Bring back creative fan chants or something, or booing random players, but the wave is just obstructive and I find it occurs at the weirdest times in the game.

Everything they've done this year shows they're a bubble team...which is really unfortunate. Maybe they'll get in, maybe they won't....but it's pretty likely that they will get a middle of the pack draft pick. Building for the middle from the middle.

When I'm sitting in the stands, people standing up in front of me to do the wave gets in my way of the view of the game. Ushers don't let people go to their seats during game play for that reason, they block the view of the ice. The wave is even more distracting, IMO.
