I thought Janko was excellent tonight. Need more of that from him.

Man I disagree and agree with you at the same time. I was really frustrated watching Jankowski tonight... thought he looked too slow and made some questionable decisions.
But then I see that when he was on the ice, the Flames generated 73.68% of the shot attempts and 66.67% of the scoring chances, both team-bests.
So... I don't really know what to make of that.

Great writeup as usual, thanks! So good to see the whole team firing on all cylinders, except Dubé it seems. How has Jankowski looked since Ward took over? Maybe he's out when Bennett is healthy?

He's looked pretty good actually.. A lot of puck possession and a lot of defensive responsibilities.. No points yet but I think he is trending in the right direction big time.

Yeah, the offense isn't there but he's looked pretty good defensively.
The lineup decisions are going to be interesting. With how the team is going, don't really want to see any changes. How do you sit any of the wingers, Rieder, Frolik, Dube, Mangiapane have all played great during this run.

The biggest stat domination by the Flames was out hitting the Leafs 22-12
Lucic 6 hits Backlund and Dube 3 hits.
Gaudreau Ryan Rieder Frolik Mangiapane Gio Brodie and Hamomic with no hits.
Czarnik is a no hitter on a permanent basis. Does is marginally better scoring potential get him back in the Flames lineup?

You think Stajan is fidgety? I'll take that over EF's incessant finger rolling any day.
