Sounds like Poirier and possibly Francis (who played Poirier last night) will be off for the next couple weeks.

Ryan Francis was traded to the Saint John Sea Dogs.

https://www.capebretonpost.com/sport...t-john-542282/

He and Poirier are now teammates in the QMJHL

The WHL is still a logistical mess.

https://whl.ca/article/western-hocke...lay-in-alberta

Alberta-based teams will comprise their own division.

I guess Zary and Wolf will go back to their respective teams.

Weird, so only Alberta for now?

Since neither Zary nor Wolf play for an Alberta-based team, I guess that means they'll stay with the Heat until the WHL comes up with a plan for BC and the US.

I think the plan is to have BC, US and Eastern Divisions.

Not really prospect related, but the Hitmen will be playing in the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on Tsuut'ina Nation because the NHL and AHL COVID protocols won't let them play in the Saddledome.

Interesting. It looks like a nice facility.

It also mentions that the players will be living at the Grey Eagle Casino rather than with billets. I hadn't really thought about the challenges of keeping everyone safe with billets, but it makes sense.

It's an incredible new facility. I'd love to see them play there a couple games a season.

Pelletier with 2 assists,+2 in a 6-4 win over Blainville. Val D'Or is 9-1 in their last 10, and now sit atop the QMJHL Standings. Blainville-Boisbriand, the team they just beat twice in a row, is third.
