Exact same thoughts.

I trade Monahan in a lateral move.

Deal Jankowski and Brodie for assets.

I don't trust this core as is. Needs a shake up.

Thank you Flames for the incredible fun exciting season, playoffs didnt work out but it's a process. I've been lucky to have seen 1986, 89 and 04 runs to the cup. This team is on the right path hopefully with some progressive trades in the off season. We can get better and continue the journey to the ultimate goal.

Boys had next to no playoff experience (Peters included). Hopefully they learn from this for next year... Need to be tougher mentally. We the skill to compete, but got knocked off our game too easily.

The city can get an early start on 17th Ave construction, at least.

Refereeing was pretty gross too though.

This team still has some upside, I firmly believe that.

Credit to MacKinnon and Rantanen, they felt like Crosby and Malkin out there.

Aside from tricking Bednar into swapping teams there isn't a damn thing Peter's could have done. One team wanted to win, the other team wanted nothing to do with another month of hockey

Second best record in franchise history.

We all have our theories but I would like to hear from management what went wrong since the all star break.

You have to think Brodie is gone in the offseason. He's a downright liability when not stapled to Gio and the emergence of young guys like Valimaki and Kylington make Brodie expendable. Seriously... Valimaki came in for game 4 of the playoffs and looked like he hadn't missed a beat.

Yeah well I got a salute for them too! I'm actually ok with them not showing the salute.

Wasted $400 on a ticket watching a AHL team playing the Avs. Left the game with 12 mins left in the period. This team is full of players worth $2 million a season. Monahan, Tkachuk, Frolik, Brodie, Backlund were beyond bad. Such a disappointing playoff series Trev needs to look at the mirror and build a team with more grit and speed.

Still a Flames fan but cannot hide my frustrations!

I'm so sick of being a fan. Watching players not give a #### is too much to bear. Call me when the team has some pride

It's all my fault guys. I took all the Flames mojo with me to China.

As soon as we left Canadian airspace, the Avs in Game 2 tie it on a bizarre play and then win in OT. And then it's all downhill from there.

I accept any and all responsibility for this abysmal series.

Flames fan for life

Still would have loved it if the disgusted fans didn’t leave and boohed at the fan salute

Sounded like a sad cheer but still a cheer

What a terrible team, honestly

Yeah yeah yeah, what a regular season. That means absolutely nothing. Fun 82 games, thanks for that.

But you're the kid that sprinted to the front of the pack, and didn't have anything left to even finish the race. Regular season success means nothing.

That was a joke.

The NHL should be ashamed of the officiating in every game, and the Flames should look at what's in the locker room very critically. Something very important is missing.

That is a crap ending to a really terrific season.

(Apologies to Bette Midler for that.)
