Fognini is one service hold away from giving Nadal a bagel on a clay court.

Fognini wins the title over Lajovic
Lots of movement in the rankings this week.
Fognini up to 12 from 18
Lajovic up to 24 from 42
FAA enters the top 32 at 31 (he's almost certain to be seeded at Roland Garros as he only has 30 points to defend from now til then)
Dimitrov drops from 28 to 43

FAA is seeded this week in Barcelona and gets a first round bye - He will play the winner of Jaziri and Kohlschreiber. Denis is also playing Barcelona and will play the winner of Garin and Klizan in round 2.

Need something to turn around Nadals 2019 season before it's too late. Another title in his house would be nice, center court is literally named after him he better not lose there.

Looks like Kohlschreiber pulled out of the event today, so now FAA will play the winner of Jaziri and Andreozzi.

Given what happened last in Monte Carlo, they both have to win those matches. No real room for any more early round weak showings in these clay events if you want to be a top 30 player. You don't have to make the quarters every tournament, but you do need to beat the guys you're supposed to beat.

I think FAA will beat Jaziri, but I would not be shocked if Garin defeats Denis as the young guy from Chile has played very well this season and loves the clay. Put it this way, Denis will need to be in fine form to win this match as it won't be easy.

Janko touched on it on his podcast interview, but here's another good read about match-fixing in tennis.
