Absolutely hilarious.
More jokes/jabs /barbs per minute than any other TV show.

JLD's over the top use of vulgar language is a masterpiece.

The mockery of American politics is spot on

Does not ever disappoint

For those that may have missed it last season, or are looking for a solid dark comedy, check out Bill Hader, Henry Winkler, and Stephen Root in "Barry". Last season is available on Crave, and they stream new episodes on the platform every Sunday.

Fantastically dark, awkward, and hilarious. It's a very surreal blend.

Bill Hader needs to be in more things.

I just started The Mindy Project and he plays her ex in that. I've been meaning to watch this because Mindy wrote some of my favourite Office episodes. I've watched about six episodes and it's really good so far. Ike Barenholtz is hilarious as usual.

I finally caught up with Sharp Objects. The creepiness factor is off the charts on this one. I was watching the final episode late at night by myself in my basement with all the lights dimmed and after everybody had gone to bed and that montage during the end credits came on like a poltergeist. Damn, that's chilling. I don't think I've been so creeped out since I saw season one of True Detective.

I couldn't sleep the other night so I was sitting up at 2 in the morning, and I actually for real found a channel that was playing re-runs of the Wonder Years. So I'm PVRing them. But that episode was the one where Kevin was getting crushed by his new math teacher and he fell behind.

I love that show

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but I have really enjoyed Get Shorty, featuring Chris O’Dowd and Ray Romano. I like it much more than the movie, but I haven’t read the novel so I don’t know how it compares to that. It is showing on Super Channel, not sure if anywhere else.

If you are a Chris O’Dowd fan then Family Tree is also a good watch. Only one year (8 shows) but is hilarious. There are lots of good cameos in it by the group that did the Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, etc. mocumentaries.

just started watching Black Summer.

its more like World War Z, the book version, than Walking Dead... its sort of like what i thought Fear the Walking Dead would be...people fighting zombies, and each other, for survival in the days following the first outbreak...

very austere look, stripped down, some shaky cam (without the shakes) but using it to get a sense of intimacy with the survivors at times.

really have enjoyed it so far.

Anyone seen Happy! from SyFy yet? It’s disturbing but very good. I’m almost finished the first season.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 hasn't been as good so far.

But I love Patton Oswalt, so I'm game regardless.

BTW, the new Twilight Zone reboot by Jordan Peele has been great so far.

4 episodes in and all have been fun and freaky.

I set the PVR to record starting with 5. I missed the first four and can’t find them on On Demand.

On the inside the episode segment that runs after the episode, they revealed that this line was ad libbed by the actor and they laughed so hard they had to use it.

The original line was supposed to be:
"My guys are ####"
Henchman: "Well you're king of #### mountain"

But in one take Hank said suck balls so the actor playing the henchman didn't know what to say so he said "suck balls mountain".

Ya, Game Of Thrones gets all the headlines, and I enjoy it too... but Barry is the highlight of HBO’s current Sunday lineup for me
