Turns out I did have Season 3 of the Great Canadian baking show. Yeah the hosts weren't great I can see why they got rid of them. Personally I am not a fan of the attempts at humor on all the bake off shows and just want the hosts to provide introductions and banter with the contestants. Even Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas can't save most of the cringe skits on the British version.
Did hear the British one is cancelling all "international" themes. Thankfully means we should never have to enure something as awful as Mexican week ever again.
Onto season 5 of the Canadian version now. Do love Alan Shane Lewis as the host. He has a commanding presence while seeming approachable with a good sense of humour. Caramel week was fun, hook it up to my veins!

The Fall of the House of Usher was decent. It quickly felt like a repetitive 'who's next?' but toward the end of the series that didn't bother me. Bruce Greenwood was excellent.
As someone who has been involved in Soccer for a long, long time this Wrexham documentary is killing me...
Much like 'The Bear' triggered my memories of working in a Kitchen, Wrexham is triggering my memories of running Soccer teams where it just seems like everything is fighting you and nothing goes your way.
In this show, Humphrey is my spirit animal.
His reactions, emotions and actions are just like what I used to be like when running teams. Just...its so funny. I'd love to meet him one day.
He's exactly like the way I used to be except on a far, far, bigger scale.

I've been re-watching Sons of Anarchy during my treadmill time. What a fun and engrossing series that I seemingly misremembered in so many important ways. Doesn't hurt that the Deadwood alumni are well represented in this FX series.
It gets a little slippery towards the end (I'm just starting season 6), but gosh darnit it's addicting. The spin-off Mayans MC is up next.
Available on Disney+.

All the Light We Cannot See was pretty good, but it really needed to be 8-10 episodes. At four it left little room to really flesh out the characters and their backstories--especially The Professor who basically got put on the backburner.

I'm enjoying season 2. Humphrey is great and I really liked that episode where Shaun tried to take a vacation and everything went to hell.
Season 2 has a different feel from the first with the team having expectations now. Would like to know more about this Notts County rival. Do they have celebrity owners as well? The episode last week with the big game was excellent. Like how I get the feel of being a fan through the highlights without actually having to sit through 90 minutes of soccer.
Do laugh whenever they complain about finances, given Reynolds' deep pockets, the show already paying for the purchase price, and the team's value increasing like 10 fold.

Its great, watching almost all of the 'Always Sunny in Philadelphia' case show up to a match was great! Charlie Day rules, I wish there was a movie with him and Jack Black.

Yeah I really liked this one. Binged it over two nights.
