Waiver wire April 11 - UPD: Dallas claims Vatanen. Sens claim Mete.
Healey on waivers means the Predators have signed the former Flames prospect to a NHL contract

Interesting that Mete goes up on waivers the day before trade deadline.
Meanwhile Sam has fumbled away to play"less worse" then he did since the double eviction notice their agent gave his clients teams, at end of January.

Dekeyser as well. I haven't watched a Wings game in years, but I thought he was good?

If I recall he was signed to a 1 year contract just a week before the start of the season,
Would not be shocked if he plays in Europe maybe KHL next season

DeKeyser has another year at 5 million. No one is touching that.
Vatenen is an expiring contract worth only 2 million so someone who has cap space might claim him. It's a bit surprising that he couldn't fetch a 4th round pick...mind you could be a case of dumping 500k being worth more than a late pick to the ownership group.
I don't know a lot about Mete. He'd be due a QO of about 810...seems like a guy to try out over Nesterov and Stone down the stretch. Might be a guy Seattle could have interest in taking.

Yzerman could have had Mete in the Merril. trade.
Looks like Mete is one of those players with the good advanced stats, but NHL teams are not as impressed with them.
