Norm!
Larry Day Pyramid Productions RIP
The guy was a huge face in the Canadian Media scene. I remember him as an anchor on 2&7, produced a lot of great documentaries.
RIP

Wow didn’t realize he was 69. I always liked Larry Day on the news and later doing movie reviews.

I believe he finished 3rd and won a washer and dryer set or something like that.
From what I remember, that was in the day when Jeopardy was only available on one channel in Calgary and it was one of the Spokane channels. For some reason, his episode was preempted and either never aired in Calgary or was put on sometime in the middle of the night.

I used to legitimately look forward to summer so I could watch The Movie Show every day.

I loved the Movie Show. Especially the red head who hosted it but can't remember her name.
Also Day did terrible on Jeopardy. I think he only had like 3-4 correct answers.

Just don't ask Lanny for his opinion of her.
Whatever happened to that anyway?

She wasn't a very good biographer. Her Diana Hart book got her sued big time and it was one of the worst written books that I've ever read.

No it wasn't. Found it. It was Kerrie Penney. She looked like Molly Ringwald.

And new music from Starship!
Now his wife did end up on that show at some point. I had forgotten about that first host.
