Apparently those two are in the same locker room tomorrow for the skills competition at the AHL all star game.

Looked a pretty even tilt to me.

Good see he can stand up for himself though.

Yeah, one of those rights early in the scrap looked like it went clean through his nose. Ouch!

Also gave him a shiner:

I don’t want to say it’s on my bucket list, but the time was right and I was feeling OK, so I thought I’d do it … It’s not a hot take to say I was the decisive loser there, but held my own and did fine. I’m no worse for wear. This might swell up a little bit tomorrow [ed note: referring to a growing shiner under his left eye], but no head issues or anything like that, no hand issues. Overall, I feel fine and got it out of the way. I wouldn’t say this is going to be a common occurrence. I think it was the right time and place. That guy was kind of running around and, like I said, I just think it was the right time and place to pull something like that off.”

Regarding them both being on the same All-Star team tomorrow, Clarke added: “Yeah, I was talking to him in the penalty box about that. He said, ‘See ya tomorrow.’ There’s no hard feelings, it’s just part of the game. So, it’s not going to be awkward or anything. I’m just going to be nice to him and he’s going to be nice to me. It’s gonna be fun.”

Sure, every Tyson fight was even for the first 8 seconds until...

Clarke landed one on the helmet and ate 3 to the beak

I'd like to see him get 5 games at the end of the season, let him remember what the gap is before working in the off season.

This is such a confusing thread to see keep getting bumped.

Threads like this should get locked once a player is sent back down, just so it doesn't cause confusion.

(the recall from 3 recalls ago, then a little bit about the most recent one, then some more stuff about what happened in between the last one and the one that's about to happen) Are we at thread capacity?

There's an argument for locking these kinds of threads and replacing them with a plain "Player X". Same for trades. Lock them after a decent amount of time and if you want to talk about the new player use a player dedicated thread, not a trade one.

Seriously. This forum is allergic to creating new threads for new discussion on a player. Bumps should only occur if it's relevant to the intended topic.

The only guarantee is whatever you choose (new thread, bump old one) you're going to get in hell for it.

Clarke has 4 inches on Coronato, but would wouldn't know it based on the outcome of that fight. And they're pretty much the same weight.

Create new thread for a topic that *could* potentially be discussed in an existing thread:

"You could have used the existing thread to discuss this. You're a newer member, this isn't the way to start off on CP." - CP warriors

Post in an existing, albeit older thread:

"What a dumb bump. This thread is over <insert months/years> old." - Also CP warriors
