Ironically those 4 starts are all his appearances since that game and Mazza doesn't look any better.
I'm really hoping McGuire can get a hit or two tonight and maybe see he can break out of his slump. I really think all he needs at this point in time is some confidence at the plate and he could break out as this is by far the worst slump of his career. In fact before last month, he'd never even gone 3 games without a hit before.

Roark is awful.
His numbers are bad enough, but he’s actually been on the LUCKY side to not have an even higher ERA.
His WHIP would indicate his ERA should be much, much worse. 1.76 is ugly
