You should put the spoilers tag at the front, I clicked on this one thinking it was the other thread.

Seeing it on Friday at noon by myself, cause I'm a big nerd and I can't wait. I also have tickets for Christmas day with the family.

No movie can be worse than the prequels.

None.

No good.

The Last Jedi sure gave the prequels a run for their money. Not as bad but close.

And I really hope Disney doesn't accept your challenge. This MUST end on a good note...nay...and epic note.

For real though. I’m gonna post actual spoilers and if anyone complains, it’s your own fault.

I was very satisfied with the movie. The first half I was totally into it, the Hux part kind of brought me out of it for a bit (though my 12 year old son pegged it and thought it was great so what do I know?). The end felt a little too rushed and I can see why they debated doing part 1, part 2. My only other gripe is the kiss, not needed there, the sacrifice was enough. (Trying to be somewhat spoiler free)

That all being said, I loved that it concludes everything and love that there were no side missions that made no sense and dragged on, loved the fan service and didn’t feel it was overdone.

I agree with most everything you say here. Very satisfying ending to the saga. There was definitely some cringe, but it didn't take away too much, and felt like a fun Star Wars movie most of the way through.

Overall, I’m really happy with it. There’s always things you can pick away at, but I enjoyed it.

Way better than TLJ. Really enjoyed it.

But man, what an absolute missed opportunity to have Ben and Anakin appear alongside Luke and Leia at the end.

Edit: I also think Rey should have owned the Palpatine name at the end to.

Not sure how I feel about the Rey thing, but yeah would have loved all of the fallen Jedi at the end.

Loved all the voices Rey heard including Mace Windu, mcgregor and Guinness obj-wan and even Kanan!
