The Great Gatsby

I have no idea what to think. Judging from this, it doesn't look like my style of movie. I've never read the book though so I have no idea.

The Great Gatsby is my favourite book. Soo stoked for another movie. Although I don't know how I feel about Toby McGuire as Nick.

If Baz Lurman is involved it'll be terrible.

Great book, but my first impression is that this is gonna suck. Luhrmann's style just seems like an awful fit for this. Solid cast though.

It was filmed in 3D too, just to give it that extra Blockbuster flair.

One of my favourite books of all time. Dicaprio is a perfect Gatsby and he even nailed the "old sport" expression without sounding like a tool, which isn't easy to do. As much as I hate Toby, he is a great choice for Nick. This movie looks sick.

Let's see how it compares to the Vincent Chase version. Also good to see Tobes get some work. I loved the use of "No Church in the Wild" in the opening of the trailer but it never got back to the soaring heights of that Brooklyn Bridge shot.

Never read Gatsby so I don't really have much of an idea of the underlying story. That said, I'll probably see it.

You need to fix that right away. The last two paragraphs in the novel is some the most amazing prose I've read.

Out of all the trailers and exciting movies coming out in the next year or so, that Moonrise Kingdom looks to rank about last in terms of 'want to see'.
What is it even about? So random. Terrible.

Besides the incredible on and off screen talent and the fact that it's 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, I don't see why anyone would want to see it........

well if it is good, that preview did a colossally horrible job of showing that it will be, or what it is even about.
Also, I'm not the type of guy to go to a movie based on the "talent" of actors. It's just not something that matters to me.
Terrible script is a terrible script, don't matter who's saying the words sometimes.
