"When you become famous, you've got like a year or two where you act like a real #######," Bill Murray told Tom Shales and James Miller when they interviewed him for Live from New York, their oral history of Saturday Night Live. "You can't help yourself. It happens to everybody. You've got like two years to pull it together — or it's permanent." He was talking, of course, about Chevy Chase, his opponent in a famous backstage fistfight. The two are friendly now, and it seems as though Murray wanted to imply that Chase had "pulled himself together" following his sudden rise to fame.

Chase doesn't seem to be helping things by telling the Huffington Post that the only two relatable characters are "the two white girls — the two pretty, young girls, Alison [Brie] and Gillian [Jacobs]"
I'm still sad he left the show because his character fit in the group dynamic a lot better than the guy from Breaking Bad does. But seeing as how it's not really a character and the cast & crew had to put up with real life Pierce every day I can see why he needed to go
He wouldn't perform his lines, his contractually obligated lines that stipulated no improvisation allowed. If he didn't want to perform the lines he shouldn't have signed the contract.
Not much of a surprise really. I dont know why he has an ego that enormous, in the grand scheme of movie stars hes 'B-List' at best.
I would say that it's his ego that made him the B/C-Lister. The guy was huge back in the 70's and 80's which the lampoon movies, Fletch, Caddyshack and others. Here's an article I found when I searched him that says just that... It does rehash some from the previous article.

Yeah, but all of those movies are terrible. They're so bad they're good and no one would be surprised if they'd been directed by Sam Raimi, the only one that even attempts to defy awfulness was Caddyshack.
I'm reminded of an interview I saw where someone said that upon seeing the first screening of 'Beverly Hills Ninja' Chris Farley broke down and cried because he was being lampooned as a completely incompetent loser.
Thats basically Chase's career in a nutshell. He has no chops and no diversity. He was either a completely incompetent loser or he was nothing.

I laughed but damn, the group looks totally decimated. And Britta is only in the last part of the trailer.. is she only in for part of the season? I'm getting a bit of a meta-vibe from this as well.
Can anyone just go to Yahoo Screen and watch them? Is Yahoo Screen a subscription service like Netflix? Will it even matter if it's geolocked and not available in Canada?

Watched the episodes. I actually quite enjoyed them! The show hasn't been the same since Donald Glover left, but I'm pretty open minded and had a few laughs in there.
The new episode was way better than the last few seasons. Better production values, better pacing, better writing. Definitely recommend giving it a watch. There have obviously been changes to the production format, much more like a show with a story.
After the subpar season 4, I was weary what all the changes would do to this venture. So I went in anxious that it might suck. It didn't suck. I don't think either of the first two episodes will go down as classics, but they explicitly weren't trying for that, and so were decent episodes for fans of the show. I'll call that a success!
