Go Flyers, definitely do not want to fall 4 points behind WC1. Also need the BJ’s to win in order to stay in a playoff spot (albeit with the Preds still having a game in hand either way).

Wow I wonder how many of the 700 he's scored on a one-timer from the right circle. Probably not many.

The Devils were quite a treat to watch. Blackwood has come out of nowhere, Gusev and Subban are doing well, and they have some picks to do some damage this year.

Looking forward to seeing what they do next season.

There were two surprises on the early OOT games. The Devils get a late power play goal, Severson scored with two minutes left in regulation time as New Jersey wins 3-2.

The Sabres were up 3-0 after twenty minutes and went on to beat the Penguins 5-2! Eichel scored two power play goals.

The Flyers were also up 3-0 in the second period. The Jets tried to come back by scoring two goals, but, could not do it. That is good news as the Flyers won 4-2. Laughton with a pair of goals.

Subban is having, by far, his worst season as a professional hockey player.

Not sure we ever see another 700 goal scorer, never mind an 800 goal scorer.

The past couple of games was old Subban. But yes, 90% of this season he has been hot garbage.

I doubt it. I posted it a couple days ago, but the player most likely to next hit the 600-goal mark is Sidney Crosby, and he is still 142 goals short. He is 32-years old. The only other player who is remotely close is Patrick Marleau, but he won't get there before retiring.

700 goals? It is going to be years before we see another one score 600. In other words, there is a better chance that Ovechkin scores his 800th before anyone else gets to 600.

I think Stamkos is next most likely. 420 goals in 800 games at 30 years old

I'd be pretty surprised if Stamkos hit 700. I think he passes Iginla at 625 for sure though.

Sharks outshooting the Rangers 22-3 at the end of the first, but because it's the Sharks, it's tied at 1.

You think he’ll score 225 goals after the age of 30 “for sure”?

I mean there is a chance but it’s not a sure thing at all.

He needs 203, not 225. But yeah I think it's a pretty safe bet. Although I should have added the stipulation that he stays healthy, which is a pretty darn big if, I'll admit.

That said, assuming he plays another decade, all it really should take is a couple more 40-goal seasons and I think he'll be able to make up the rest through 30- and 20-goal years.
