That should be 4 Canadians in the Masters this year. That must be close to a record?

It's shaping up to be a good fight between Hadwin/Conners/Taylor for the 2 Canadian Olympic spots.
Is Hadwin ranked high enough to be in the Masters? Don't remember him winning last year.

Hadwin narrowly secured his Masters’ spot at the end of last year by finishing ranked in the top 50.

I’m sorry but whenever a Canadian wins. We need to stand up. It’s like Brooke or Bianca.

First Canadian to win at Pebble Beach apparently.

Who is old enough to remember Jim Nelford "winning" the Bing Crosby when Hale Irwin dunked his tee shot in the Pacific Ocean on 18? The ball hits a rock and miraculously jumps out into the fairway. He makes birdie to tie Nelford and wins in a playoff.

Riviera is such a good golf course.

Really needs to host a modern US Open.

Hughes currently in 2nd, dropped a 53ft birdie putt on 17th to briefly tie for the lead.

Crazy putt, followed by probably one the worst 3 woods of his life on 18. That shot was probably 100 plus yards left, if it didn’t rifle into the grandstand. Great to see Hughes get some positive mojo.

Crazy what a good week putting will do for you.

He is 137th in strokes gained putting on the year. This week? 13th.

Golf is probably the only pro sport that can reasonably justify to keep playing during the pandemic.

For only completely selfish and shallow reasons, I hope they can keep playing so I have some kind of sports entertainment. It actually doesn't suffer too much on tv from no fans like team sports either.

double dog damn... would have to rank it as my favorite sporting event of the year. Where in god's name would they hope to fit it in during an olympic/ryder cup year?? Would have to be in the late fall I think. I believe Augusta closes for the summer anyway.

They play the Masters on over seeded rye grass, but bermuda grass takes over as it gets warmer. They could play in the summer, but it would play differently with different grass.

I think they have underground AC to keep the greens in good shape.

That's a long time to keep the azaleas on ice though!

The only time it would be really unplayable is when they scalp the bermuda in fall or before the rye is fully in.
