There are actually two types of pickles, fresh and processed. You're probably used to one and not the other.

Buying dairy at Walmart is fine. Not sure what the hell you guys are doing. The dairy industry in Canada is a cartel, Walmart ain't breaking it.

Their produce can be awful and their beef is terrible though.

Walmart is great for cheap household or toiletry stuff like cleaners, shampoo, etc.

But on another note, I've found London Drugs has great sales on this stuff as well every now and then.

Also, why is the cost of deodorant so insane? ####ing $5+ for a stick, are you serious?? I always stock up when they go on sale.

I don't understand why, but bananas at Walmart are awful. Seems like I buy them green, go to bed, and wake up they're black.

Superstore or Sobeys no issue, but Walmart the produce has a shelf life of 35 seconds.

I hate Walmart, but alas they've worked their way into the fabric of society that there isn't really any other good alternative.

I miss Target, I wish we had a Costco.

I just found a five pack of the anti-perspirant that I normally buy for 7 bucks a stick at Costco for 16 bucks. More and more I'm discovering that Costco is the place to shop.

I always feel so dirty when I shop there. Dirty because the store is gross and dirty because I'm supporting that company. Unfortunately, we've settled on a brand of diapers which only seems to be available there, and because they're actually great diapers, I'll have to continue going until they're potty trained.

The two NW ones are mostly acceptable, the rest in Calgary are DMZs.

I'm very ashamed to admit I give Wal-Mart money around once a month. Always at 10:30PM though, in and out with the least amount of traffic possible.

They really are dirty hell holes, aren't they? Like, clean up your damn floor. I don't think they care though.

I don't think they have enough staff to clean. They certainly don't have enough to properly re-stock the shelves.

Man I didn't realize the level of disdain for Walmart was so high. The one in Royal Oak is pretty tidy but I have been to other locations that were not great.

One thing they never forget to do is push their Wal-Mart credit card.

I never understood why Walmart has never had tap. Always insert or swipe.

The cost to tap is more than the cost to insert/swipe. I’m very tempted to turn off the tap at my PoS terminal too.

The real sadness about Walmart are the McDonald’s located inside them. How they managed to sully one of the happiest places on earth I will never understand.
