Medal of Honor
It came out last week. I'm finally going to pickup my copy this afternoon.
Has anybody here played it yet? What platform? What are your thoughts so far?
I'm a PC gamer, so I'll obviously be playing on the PC. Interested in hearing what people thing about it.

I played the multiplayer beta for a bit, and thought it was fun enough, but not enough to draw me away from the games I already play.
Don't buy it for the single player either, it's extremely short. At least not until its in the bargain bins.

I'm on the fence about buying this. Dice really annoyed me by not offering any dlc for bad company 2. Feels like another quarterly cash grab from EA and dice.

The Multiplayer was developed by Dice so it is basically Battlefield but with a different skin. I'll stick to Battlefield.
IMO not worth the $70.

I wasted $70 on this game...I played the campaign, finished it in 5 hours and played the multiplayer for an hour...not worth it. The multiplayer is a camp-fest and snipers every where you go, you would be lucky to live for 2 minutes. Also, there are I think only 3 maps in multiplayer? WTF is that.
Single player is decent. There is one cliche'd mission that I really enjoyed
Multiplayer...if you are playing this game for multiplayer and you already have BFBC2...stick with that game. It's way better.

Well that settles it. I had a feeling it wasnt worth it, with only 3 maps on multiplayer, forget it. Dice is terrible for that, BFBC2 has so much potential with some additional maps. Instead we're supposed to shell out of the Vietnam expansion.

One of the reasons I love TF2.. Three years after release and it's still constantly updated with new maps, new gameplay modes, new weapons, hats, etc.. These other games hardly come with anything and get abandoned for the next money maker.

On top of the new Call of duty coming out in a couple of weeks as well.

I never played TF2 but CS:Source is still good, aside from the slightly dated graphics.

Dice is crap. Battlefield was working in stereo 3D and had the Geforce 3D Vision-ready tag from nVidia. Then they issued a patch that broke 3D, and never fixed it. It's been broken for months. GTFO, Dice.

Almost everything I've read online indicates that most pure FPS gamers think that Medal of Yawner is one of the worst games they have ever had the misfortune of playing. This is the PC community only of course.

They used to be a good developer until they were swallowed by the evil empire.

I just got it a couple days ago for the PC. I'm only about 1 1/2 chapters in and so far I'd have to say it's average. There's nothing special about it but I wouldn't call it terrible either. I only payed $30 for it though so for someone who payed full price they might be more critical of it.

3 maps in Multiplayer? And I thought Bad Company 2 was bad for map variety. That is just brutal.

Didn't check CP first I should know better. SP is decent, MP could be good with better maps. Doesn't make much sense to have 24 players on maps smaller than MW2. I'm not great to begin with, but often you get spawned in front of an enemy or in the middle of a rocket shower. 2/10
