That 2015 draft was such a epic swing and miss by the Bruins.

6 picks in the first two rounds, three in a row at 13 (Zboril), 14 and 15.

So many good players taken all around their misses too

Didn't slow them down though. Still built a perennial contender.

Bruins had 3 first round picks in the early teens in a strong draft; they completely flubbed 2 of them; and are still one of the best team in the league since this.

Yup, it's one thing to cherry pick players picked later on that turned out to be studs. See Konecny at #24 for example.

But I believe Bingo said you always look at a previous pick and look at the 2-3 players taken immediately before or after as legitimate "what if" options. Boston looks really bad here with that logic applied.
