I always loved this one, from Dan. These are all taken from the show?

Unpopular opinion alert: I tried Veep but didn’t like it. Reminded me of The Office which I also disliked. They’re not my kind of humour. I like Seinfeld but it’s not my favourite. I love Terms of Engagement, especially the male actors who are superb. I may watch the finale of Veep to see how it ends.

We have very, very different tastes, but it's about what makes you laugh. Power to ya.

Yeah, my wife likes Veep and The Office. When I tried them she knew I wouldn’t.

The Office was extremely overrated IMO. Veep is on another level.

I think it also depends on how long you give a show. For example, I found that The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, etc (sense a theme?) took a while to find their stride. Parks and Rec is an excellent example, where the first season and a half are trash, but then it becomes phenomenal.

Totally, and I guess I see what EldrickOnIce is saying. Veep was entertaining from minute 1 right to the closing credits of the finale.

I'm excited to re-watch it.

The finale did not disappoint. Poor Gary with a dubonnet lipstick on Selina's coffin was sooo moving... A super-great show all-around.

Congressman Furlong is by far my favourite character on this show.

Just finished the final season. This show was absolutely brilliant and I’d have to say it’s the best comedy I’ve ever watched. The final episode even managed to be ever so slightly poignant.

After a long break from watching I binged seasons 3 to 7 over the last couple weeks. I'm not sure why I ever stopped watching. Such a great show. Jonah's rise and ridiculousness was amazing. Congressman Furlong was awesomely crude. All the characters were so well formed for such short seasons.

I might just start watching it again from the beginning.

I finished it this week too. I'm sad to see it go, but they left at the perfect moment IMO after an epic run.
Spoiler!

One of the best comedies ever. Jonah has got to be one of my favorite dbag characters ever.

I am just finishing up one other series before I watch the last season, looking forward to it, and also sad to see it is over.

Lots of other series should wrap it up, but this one could keep going, imo.

Selena was getting to be very mean and malicious. They ramped up that aspect significantly from season 1 where she was more self centered. For that season, maybe good it ended where it did. Better to end too soon than too late IMO.

I agree. They tapped the storylines pretty good and would repeat themselves more if they kept going. How many times can she run for president?

I’m rewatching with my wife. It’s so damn funny. The ending of the series and what she does to Gary is so much sadder as you see throughout the series how much she relied on him.
