Nice to see 4 guys at the top of the line up with OBPs above .300.

Sogard has been a hell of a pick up.

Will be cool when Bichette comes up, and it will be interesting to see where he gets slotted in.

Biggio's approach is unreal and the best thing about it is he never bitches to the umps despite getting ####ed over on a lot of close pitches. You gotta think that eventually that will gain their favor a bit more.

He pretty much never swings at anything out of the zone.

Bichette watch: 2 for 3, a walk and 2 stolen bases.

Jays are playing but it's not worth mentioning the score.

Also sounds like Pearson's injury isn't that serious and he might make his next start.

The Yankees philosophy is pretty simple. Acquire really good players. Not sure why other teams can't follow their example.

Ugh Sanchez.

And I'm convinced McKinney is a lost cause as a major league calibre player.

I’ve been trying to stay positive on Sanchez but he’s going full Ricky Romero at this point.

Boras better try convincing MLB teams that a reliever who can throw 3 innings every 5th game is worth keeping on your roster. On a good day Sanchez gets thru the order twice. Most times once and its slowpitch.

Yeah, Biggio has exactly the type of approach that a player needs. Once the umpires know who he is, and that this is who he is, he will start having the borderline calls go in his favor which will let him narrow down the strike zone that much more.

He's basically got the toughest part to coach and teach figured out, now it's the execution part which as he gains experience will easily improve. Looks like he'll be a good ball player.

It's kind of impressive that for how god awful we are, we are still 6 1/2 games ahead of Baltimore.

Is that 5 consecutive strike outs for Hernandez?

Yeap. Might be time for another AAA stint lol

He's so frustrating.

He's got plus speed, a killer arm, he can hit for power and he's actually been decent defensively this year which is a plus. He just can't not swing at everything a pitcher throws.

Agree with that.

Guerrero has rolled over a lot of balls to the 3rd baseman lately. Like a frustratingly high amount. Pitchers are going to keep pitching him inside like that if he keeps doing that.

Was just going to post that. Vladdy is in a funk, he needs to be more selective and force the pitchers to come to him.

Biggio 2/2 with a BB though.

Guy is taylor made to be a lead off hitter.
