What other shows could get the big screen treatment from Kickstarter? I vote Deadwood. Town vs Pinkertons we didn't see in the finale to wrap up the show.

I suspect that Warner Bros was not willing to put money up to do the movie without any evidence that it would be successful.

Even if they were willing to do so, I still think this is a brilliant PR campaign. Here we are talking about a movie even before it has hit production. Anyone that put money in to it will be talking it up like crazy. I suspect that it will end up being a very successful movie financially.
