I don't think he's that bad. I listened to almost the entire game on radio 630 CHED last night and I thought it was pretty good. Looking at it unbiasly, they thought Kane definitely should have been kicked out. They thought the trip on Draisaitl in the 3rd was dubious. And in the post game, Stauffer thinks Kane will be suspended for sure for Game 4 and maybe the rest of the series. The hit was really bad. No excuses, the Avs have injuries that they can overcome, the Oilers have injuries and possibly suspensions they cannot overcome. I like them better than Derek Wills who's so cringe and definitely better than the propaganda going on on Sportsnet and Ron MacLean.

McDavid's body language is pretty pathetic as a team captain. Gotta keep that inside the locker room. I think it was Draisaitl that made that pass to him that got intercepted for the EN goal. Not sure why he would show him up as the guy's been playing on one leg for some time.

I get that it's pretty rich for me, a fan of the team that the Oilers beat to say this, but
I still think the Flames matchup with the Avs pretty well and could have taken them to 6 or 7 games.

I agree with what you're saying, but, the Flames-Avs playoff series 3 years ago still stings. I don't think the Flames could have handled the Avs this time either, probably 5 games.
