James Neal and scoring goals in meaningless games. Name a more iconic duo.

So James Neal will make 4.5 k next year to play for the Blues.
Oilers will pay 4.5k for Neal and Lucic this year to have neither of them playing for them.

Unless he single-handedly destroys the Oilers, this is of little consequence.

Buchnevich - ROR - Perron
Kyrou - Schenn - Saad
Neal - Thomas - Tarasenko
Joshua - Bozak - Barbashev
Clifford or MacEachern as the 13th forward
Sundqvist on IR
Replace Neal with Sundqvist when he's healthy and that is a real deep forward group

Congrats to white tooth for conning more money from a team he won't be playing for in 2 months.

The Blues must be really desperate.
That guy has been useless for years.

Hey there’s always a chance this was a wake up call for the guy. Maybe he put in the work in the off season and he’s a serviceable player this year. I’ll wish the best for the guy.
But I still hate him.

I love it lol. In all seriousness, he’s ok at that salary and the expectations of where he’ll be in that lineup.

They'd be better off getting an actual hockey player

So he’s getting paid by both the Blues and Oilers this season, correct?

A conference rival signing James Neal is good news IMO. It would have been better if he was in the Pacific.
