What is the trick to bringing the Safeway doughnuts home?
All they have are the big azz fold-out boxes which fit 12, or plain old produce bags.
The box is way too massive if you aren't buying 12, and the bags suck cause the topping sticks to the bag.
Fav Tim's doughnut are the maple dip, or Canadian maple.

I've asked the bakery for a couple larger clam shell containers, works like a charm.

I was at Safeway in Kensington a few days ago and remembered this thread so I snapped a shot of their premium donut selection. The special of the day is Skor pieces, if that's hard to see.
Their maple bacons were considerably larger than Modern Jelly's, so I had one, and it was amazing.

What about Superstore? I was there this morning, and was tempted. Are their donuts any good?

Superstore can be good, and at their best I think they are better than Safeway. However I think only 1/10 times that I go there they are that good. They were either underproofed before baking, or they don't have nearly enough chocolate on the top.
They also gave up on making anything other than plain glazed or chocolate dip, as their Boston Creme when good were so good that I would buy some to freeze.

Haha this. Also who goes to the cheesecake cafe and orders something other than the cheesecake?

What I do is use one of the sanitary plastic wraps for each donut. I use that to pick it up then put the whole thing in the bag

As much as I'd like to dive into the topic of why anyone would hate cheesecake (unless you are lactose intolerant and cheesecake hates you), let's get this back on track. Here is another doughnut picture:
