Big big game. Oilers typically can get up for a Flames game knowing the whole country is watching they may dig deep here tonight. I think the key is Markstrom if he can have a strong game I think the Flames should have this one.
If we lose I expect all the regulars to come with their pitchforks but I am really hoping they duplicate their game against the Panthers and absolutely crush the Oil tonight. Personally I want jerseys on the ice, frustration boiling over and the Oilers with no option but to replace Tippett with Gulutzan and then making a bad goalie trade that just wastes assets and doesn’t move the needle

Gotta keep winning and the oil need to be our next victim.
I'd say putting Coleman or Lindholm on McDinglenutz well be fine.
If Tippet follows true to form he'll be double shifting Leon and Connor so we need to make sure we are hitting the snot out of them every second we can.
Man the Flames better not play down to the oilers no goodedness.....we need to get out of the skid we're in too and lowering ourselves to their levels isn't good.
The ATL ought to be a beautiful thing after the game.

This is a big game for the fans, media, and the Oil.
For the Flames, it should just be another two points on the line (which they should try their hardest to get) but they should approach this game with a calm professionalism. They will be aware the other team is going to be very motivated, but they can't let the media circus enter their mindset.
That said, I hope the Flames have their foot on their throat all game long. No mercy.

It's easy to be distracted by the clown show in Edmonton but this is an important game for the Flames to put the losing streak in the rearview mirror and get back to thinking about winning the Division.
