I like this new Sasami album. She goes from sounding like Aimee Mann to something like Linkin Park and back again.

I was told about these guys today by a friend of mine and actually came to this thread to post them if they weren't already in here. Sonic Youth released an album of unreleased songs. They're basically demo quality but that's good enough for me.

This is the second time this year that a band I like has announced a new record and then the lead singer quits. It sucks but I wish him well.
