I would love a series that features Rebel scum intelligence against the heroic professionals of the ISB. No Jedi around. Seeing Mon Mothma and Bail Organa still in the Senate but sewing the seeds of sedition. Spies instead of massive shootouts. Assassinations etc.

Could be cool.

I love that it starts with a "previously on..." for the entire prequels.

New show announced for 2023 called The Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law and in the same timeline as Ashoka and The Mandolorian

Frig guys, don't be spoilering stuff in the main SW thread. Use the Obi Wan thread, I almost ruined it for myself haha.

Was watching some highlights of the StarWars celebration, it was nice to see Ashley Eckstein was heavily involved in the panels.

Great Ahsoka-inspired suit too...

I just finished the first two seasons of Rebels. Wow it is really good, can't believe it's taken me this long. I was a huge fan of Clone Wars so I think I just avoided Rebels thinking it couldn't be as good.

The character development is awesome, especially the female characters. Syndulla and Sabine are so badass and a billion times better than the female characters in the movies. If you want female characters to inspire little girls, this is what you need. Not Rey or some brooding dumb commander who kamikazes herself without telling anyone the plan.

Can't wait to get into the next season.

There are a lot of girls and women (and males) who love Rey. She's a fine character placed in sub-par movies.

I'll agree with Holdo though. I don't know anyone that likes that longneck character.

Also Ahsoka Tano is the best.

I want to be like Ahsoka when I grow up.

Rebels has some of the best content (animated or live action) in the entire SW universe.

The ILM documentary is on D+. I also watched a 2.5 hour doc on Star Wars that was part of one of the trilogy box sets that’s on D+. I’d seen it before but it was pretty good.

Yup, I like a series that won't have some kind of uber force user, that's a lot more like the Borne Identity.

Lots of Star Wars stuff coming down the pipe.

I remember that on the Widescreen Special Edition VHS. I got those as a present for watching a neighbor's dog while they were away as a kid. That was how I was introduced to Star Wars. Thanks Boujie!
