She acknowledges the extensive role that nurse practitioners play in the province, but says the 20 per cent difference in compensation is based on a difference in scope, with doctors performing surgeries and having different demands.

Yes, removing and jailing your political opponents is definitely a completely normal and not fascist/authoritarian thing to do at all.

It's cute that you think they're doing this for altruistic reasons.

I don't understand the nurse practitioner as a doctor model. So they need to get a panel of patients, and these patients are expected to just not have a family doctor? Or do they now have both, an pick who to see for each issue? Or not have a family doctor at all, and be limited in the expertise they can access?
I'm a big supporter of NP's, but I think they should be integrated into care networks/offices as part of a team. This mirroring of the doctor practice model doesn't make much sense to me, as far as patient care goes.

What the #### are you talking about... uneasy???? this is straight up Orwellian.
Power to unilaterally remove a councilor? WTF is that.
Could you imagine if the King just decided to unilaterally remove the UCP from power because "some people don't like them"? I'm sure that would sit well.

Sean Chu like allegations. Remember the uproar over the lack of ability for the province to do something?
I doubt this is about removing council members or jailing opponents against the UCP. More along the lines of some of the recall ability some people want

Any lawyers in here know if this violates the Charter in any way? Mind you, knowing these #######s, they'd just use the notwithstanding clause.
