Default January 12, with four games.

The Friday OOT is fairly quiet again, but, there are few western conference teams
in action that affect the Flames in the standings. Centre Ice is still on a free preview.

Part two of the home-away series between these division rivals.
It seems that the Hurricanes just have the Capitals number as
the two teams played with Carolina winning.

Winnipeg is no good, but they are 5-0-1 since losing their #1 center arguably their best forward Mark Schiefele.

Noodles was on TSN today and called them the best team in the West right now. They are big, young, fast and skilled, and now they are getting Vezina quality goaltending from Hellebuyck. Looks like patience may have finally paid off over there.

Edmonton tanking for Dahlin. What a joke.

Just watched the highlights of the two Coyotes goals against the Oil. Good ####ing God their defense is awful.

First goal: 4 white shirts within 10 feet of the guy that banged in the rebound, but no one even attempted to mark him

Second goal: winger has the puck in the corner, all the white shirts stand there and watch him feed the cross crease pass to a wide open guy.

No chance for Talbot on either one. Talbot pulled.

What a ####ing ####show.

Re: The Jets. Let's have a Winnipeg- Calgary playoff series, preferably the Conference Final.

I'm up for renewing the rivalry. It would be exciting hockey.

Calgary is the only team the Jets have ever beaten in the playoffs. And they've done it twice.

Nurse gets one back for the mighty Oil.

I really want to see his finish strong this year and get himself a nice 6x$6

True. I remember both times.
Still not worried about that anymore. Besides all good Flames rivals have beaten them in the playoffs. That's why they are good rivals... Or just par for the course for the Flames, getting beaten in the playoffs.

David Kampf tips in a Connor Murphy shot for his 1st ever NHL goal...1-0 in the 2nd...Debrincat with the 2nd assist

Duclair has made his Blackhawk debut on the line with Kampf and Debrincat.

I would expect the Oilers to be experts at tanking at this point?

Beating a basement dweller isn't helping your chances at the 5th 1st OA dum dums

Ridiculously bad angle on Rutta's goal to make it 2-0.

Edit: Duclair with the primary assist, his first point with the 'Hawks...Kampf the secondary assist (BTW Kampf's 23rd birthday today)

I'm watching the Jets' TSN feed tonight...seems like a good and fairly balanced commentary crew...unlike the jokers on the Oil feed, last Sunday.

Rez...It seems that the Jets are trying to be too fine, and waiting too long to unload on Glass...the guy WILL spit out rebounds, gotta shoot early and crash the net. Failing to even get a shot on a 3 on 1 and getting too deep on a breakaway, are just not good enough. The 'Hawk D are NOT physical, and boxing out on rebounds is not their strong suit. The Wild ended up breaking down the 'Hawk D, the other day, by working from below the goal line, and challenging the 'Hawk D by turning them.

seems like the hawks have the jets # this year, what can you do. i guess in years past id view this game as the start of a losing streak but this season they've been pretty resilient.

So cute that so many Oil fans made the trip to Phoenix to cheer on those losers. I bet they thought the game would mean something when they booked the flight
