That sucks for Dougie. Hope he's all right, still love him as a player.

Kovalchuk with two goals tonight. At $700k he's starting to look like one of the better bargain contracts in the league.

Ovi with a hat trick to pull within one of Mario. Wow.

He’s getting to 700 this season.

Stalock wirh a game saver at the end of regulation time. The Wild defeat the Lightning 3-2. Minnesota has Tampa's number, it is their fifth consecutive win against them.

The Sabres lead 2-1 with five minutes left in regulation time.
Dahlin has the go ahead goal.

It is a minor upset, the Ducks won 4-2 over the Predators.

Frolik scored an empty net short handed goal, SBres win 4-1.

It is 1-1 in the Coyotes-Canucks game.

Markstrom bails his team out of trouble again, Canucks win 3-1. Bo Horvat scored the go ahead goal in the second period and then the Canucks played hang on.

I didn't know Virtanen had an H in it.

Canucks played hang-on a lot more when it was 1-1

Infact after the first 5 minutes of the 2nd the game was totally even.

Feel a bit dirty--but when it was 2-1 for the knuckleheads I just didn't want to see a 3-point game so sort of cheering for Arizona not to tie it up. Ultimately, Arizona is more equipped with Hall there now to be a challenge to the Flames for the top couple of spots in the Pacific so I'm okay with this result--Vancouver will fade and be irrelevant by the Ides of March as usual.

Unless the powerplay remains hot and Markstrom continues to be unreal good.

Then, you know... careful what you wish for.

The constant under rating of the Canucks on this board is ridiculous. Thy are the most complete team in the Pacific.

High end game breakers - check
Forward depth - check
Size - check
Solid defense - check
Elite goalie - check

I see them as the biggest threat to the Flames. Honestly the only edge that Calgary has in any of those categories is defense and I don’t think it’s a big edge.
