Early in the season it seemed that the team didn't play as hard when Talbot was in net, that looks like it has changed recently so I'm skeptical of drawing a comparison based only on stats. In my opinion both goalies have been very good but I wouldn't consider either to be a franchise starter until they prove it over a bigger sample size. Keeping them in a tandem 48/34 or so, playing the hot hand, keeping them both under $7M combined and under 3yrs would be my preference at this point.
