Default Help! Computer problems!

Basically a brand new computer, and all I'm getting on my monitor are horizontal green lines. It looks like they're flashing around like crazy. My whites look pink, my reds look green.

It's pretty much un-usable.

DVI cable?

I'm assuming you've already unplugged and replugged it back in.

Does the BIOS screen show up alright? Or is that messed up too?

Is your video cable tight and secure? A loose DVI or HDMI cable can cause this.

Try another videocard in the system (borrow one from someone). I could lend you one if you really need one.

Sounds like a defective video card to me.
