Pretty sure it's from the individual dealership and not the Flames, but I know some of our players get vehicles as well.
I actually ended up buying Monahan's 4Runner after he had it about 6 months I think. Nice truck - all done up with a lift, tires, blacked out and everything. All I got was a signed jersey, the truck wasn't signed lol - that must be an Edmonton thing haha.
I only bought it as I get a lot of vehicles from the particular dealership and was in the market for one of those, not because I particularly cared who drove it.
That was actually Shawn Monahan's 4 Runner. He's a periodontist.

100%. If the Flames gave out cars it would be cap circumvention. This is just dealers (and the like) having celebrities use their products as way of advertising. If it's good enough for Monahan, it's good enough for me!

Anyone stop to think that the reason why that was posted was to troll Calgary fans? Seems to be working. Don't give this the attention they want.
Trolling Calgary fans by posting a poorly photoshopped, semi homoerotic gloating photo of their only two NHL caliber players, pointing out that even though those two can win awards the team STILL doesn't have a hope at advancing to or through the playoffs? The fact that they've spoofed a legendary Calgary family to achieve this is just gravy- Edmonton doesn't have a successful duo to model after.
