Not sure about anything being shot in Edmonton, but scenes were definitely shot in Kananaskis Country (off Highway 66 for at least a portion of it)

Seeing Eberle score in DOuble OT last night, in the conference finals, in Edmonton, was a beautiful sight to behold...

I wonder how many clutch goals Ryan Strome (the player that Eberle was traded for) has scored for Edmonton lately.

And secondly he'd have to be playing for the oilers.
Let's not forget they traded Strome for Spooner, Spooner is now plying his trade in the KHL while Strome is playing quite well for NYR. The no goodness is stifling sometimes.

If they wanted shots of a bleak cold winter white-out, they might have gone to Edmonton...

Haha, this video from TSN (Ryan Rishaug) actually talked about salt from Oilers fans regarding Eberle:

Considering Leo rented a mansion just west of Calgary while shooting it, I doubt he was commuting to Edmonton each day.

It’s like they’ve been doing the whole “turn a paper clip turn into a house”

But they went backwards.

I have a feeling that an Oilers fan found a magic lamp a few years ago and made 3 wishes;
The first, that Jordan Eberle would score 14 points in 21 games including a key goal in the Conference finals on Oilers ice.
The second, to see the Stanley cup once again hoisted in Edmonton.
The third, that the eyes of the hockey world would once again be focused on the city of Champions.

The Genie's response, I'll grant you all your wishes, but you might not like the result.

Oilers fan. Damn, I could have asked for three new pairs of sweat pants.

Any beautiful woman in Edmonton is a tourist.

Dicaprio said that he was witnessing global warming first hand, 8 feet of snow was disappearing overnight...because a chinook rolled in. They packed up and finished shooting in Argentina.

Sorry to derail. E=NG!!

Apparently Edmonton will now host the World Juniors in a bubble. They really are banner worthy.

They should just make it a permanent quarantine bubble. No one allowed out, and only allowed in to use the arena for stuff. Likely few infections of any kind would leave Edmonton that way as well.
