Default Tim & Sid to end radio show; move (back) to TV

http://www.sportsnet.ca/sportsnet-bo...-radio-lineup/

As someone who works in broadcasting and has worked on-air in radio, I know how hard it is first hand. I'm a pretty big critic of everything that goes through my ears or before my eyes but these guys have done it right for a long time. I tune in either online or on my iPhone app whenever I can and I gotta say, losing them to TV is going to be a big hit to my daily sports listening routine.

I'm also a cord cutter, so unless Rogers allows me to stream the show online, Tim & Sid will soon no longer be something I can enjoy. That sucks.

I really hope the Fan 960 gets an infusion of new managerial experience soon. Aside from the Flames broadcasts, there is little to no talent on that station (save Rob Kerr). I realize losing Tim & Sid is more of a Toronto change, but Calgary has an opportunity here. Get something good going because there is going to be a void to be filled.

Good luck to Tim & Sid - tho it's not needed - they've killed it everywhere they've went.

I agree with you about The Fan 960 here but it is a common Rogers approach to rise under-priced sub par talent for as long as you can. I like Kerr quite a lot on the radio but he needs help.

Have loved Tim and Sid since the "Score Tonight" days and have been a faithful listener via podcast since then... Their show lost a bit of an edge to me when The Score lost their Sirius station and had to do their show at a PG level on 590, but I'm very excited for them to return to TV
