IIRC his faceoffs have been pretty mediocre this year

Providence is in trouble.

down 1-0 12:54 in the second.

Seeing as how the previous 2 games were low scoring affairs...

Providence audio feed or the Hockey East video feed require money.

UNH audio link here: http://portal.stretchinternet.com/un...reamType=audio

40 minutes done. Providence still trails 1-0.

Jankowski 2.0 (Foegele) off for high-sticking.

I forgot about him.

4 straight games between Providence and UNH that will end in a 2-1 final this season.

I love that the Friars have a guy named Monk on their team.

Penalty killed off.

I went to the hockey east site to see how Gillies did this year, and wow, 1st in sv% and first in gaa. pretty impressive season for him.

Gillies just made back to back saves on a 2 on 1 while Friars were shorthanded.

UNH wins. Puck bounced around and beat a screened Gillies.

Really unfortunate because Providence was a 1:43 from winning the 1st game, but a dumb too many men penalty gave UNH the chance to tie it and force OT and eventually win.

How does this affect their chances of getting into the big tournament?

Game tracker I am looking at says:

Jankowski 0 SOG 11 faceoff wins 8 faceoff loses
Gilmour 0 SOG +1
Gillies 26 saves on 28 shots.

It drops them to 15 on the pairwise chart. Probably close to 50-50 they get invited.
