CPHL Trade Block: 2019-2020 Edition

The Trade Deadline is coming up next weekend-ish.

We all have 3-5 games left to play before playoffs and there's still a few spots left to be decided.

Philly made our moves a few weeks ago and don't really expect to be busy this week.

Something I've been thinking about for a while now...
Are we still trying to stick to the rule that a player can't play out of position in the sim? I've noticed this is happening often. I also realize it happens out of necessity. If you have 7 centers and only 6 or 7 wings, what can you do? You have to slot a C onto the W somewhere. I get it. Hell, I'm doing it out of necessity myself. Injuries have forced my hand.

My point is, if this is a rule we are trying to stick to, maybe it can generate a little more trade activity. If you are in need of a LW, make a post about it. Trade one of your extra centers or dmen to shore up your roster. Let's get those rosters compliant for the playoffs if we can.

Or not. Just something that I've been thinking about.

Pens still looking to bolster for a run. Looking for a Vet D or 2 of any rating. Return depends on quality coming in.

Nico Hischier = would move for package of high picks and bluechip prospects
Brady Skjei = would want youth as part of package

Spezza and Pominville would like to chase a cup. And we’re willing to help them look for a team that can make it happen. Also was informed Hutton won’t be coming back next season so he’s more likely to be traded. Tyler Ennis has one foot in the door and one foot on the outside.

No we don't have to slot a C into W somewhere at all. We could dress the C but you double shift a winger. We shouldn't be purposely playing players out of position. Double shifting him can tire him out, but this should be a temporary solution only, signing or trading can easily be done there no need to play out of position (on purpose, no one can help when the SIM goes rouge with your lines))

hopefully looking to trade Kirill Maksimov for a D in the last year of his contract contract. Just a body to close out the year

If anyone is interested on trading for Victor Rask, I'd deal him for a third but I can't include any cap for this season. He's had a nice little bounceback effort for Minnesota this year and emerged as a quality defensive forward. Let me know.

Cheap and will rerate positively excellently after a really good season with Minnesota

2nd highest rated goalie the game. His last year of a 3M contract. So can be acquired as a rental but also has the potential to be one of the highest rated goalies next year if you wish to resign him
