BTW I was happy to see Ruby Riott coming back after a long time on the Shelf with double shoulder surgery, the woman's division needs talent help and Riott is very talented.

Jeff Cobb is a nice pick up for AEW. They need more monster heels and he's perfect for that role. Putting him in the Inner Circle was smart, too, because he doesn't really want excel on the mic.

This is where they need to be careful though.
Faction bloat is a real thing, and starts to limit fueds and leads to stale matchups. (Hello Year 2 of NWO)
Jericho
Hager
Guevara
Santina
Ortiz
Cobb
That's already a pretty big faction now.
Personally I think Cobb as a silent killer tweener could have been great too. Beats the crap out of the faces, and the heels. Doesn't say anything. Just destroys.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Hager is heading back to MMA soon though.

I thought he was still doing it, he just does his training around Wednesday nights.
From what I read, Cobb isn't signed, he's just one a show to show deal. I don't think he's in the Inner Circle, he's just a hired gun to take out Mox, similar to the relationship between MJF and the Butcher and the Blade.

I think that's true, but I can't imagine if he has a fight coming and needs to do a camp, etc., that he's going to work around his AEW schedule or risk an injury.

He had a fight when he first debuted and he seemed to manage. Based on the fact he's actually getting in the ring for the PPV, I'm guessing he doesn't have a fight coming up. Google didn't come up with anything for him.
Not since Elias & KO’s Supersonic departure joke have I seen a heel get so much nuclear heat from a crowd
Apparently, you don’t diss Whataburger in Austin TX
Crowd reaction was so loud, live attendees couldn’t hear the rest of Britt’s promo and had to watch recaps to hear it
Britt's been outstanding on the mic since her heel turn. Her in-ring stuff still needs a lot of work, but she's absolutely killing her promos and character work right now.
