I would like the Blues to get their first cup. They have always been a pretty decent team through their history kind of like the Sharks. They deserve one just like the Caps did last year. Boston has had enough glory already.

I just hope this series is short so we can get on with the off-season

I think the Blues surprise many at how easily they win this series. Rask may steal a couple.

Very NHL schedule.
Game 1 starts on a Monday instead of the weekend. Weekends are for hockey. Only 1 Sat game, no Friday games.
Most games with 3 days in between instead of typical 2 days. Good way for fans to lose interest.
Games 5 & 6 skip over Fri and Sat night. Again, weekends are for hockey.
A possible game 7 on June 12th is 3 weeks away from today which is way too long. Boston won Eastern finals on May 16.

They also have the most homer, dbag commentator in all of sports. I won't even mention his name because he doesn't deserve it.
Sure they helped us in 2011. But what have they done for us lately besides skating away from interviews?
Blues have never won. Great story line this year. No one to really hate.
Go Blues.

Pretty much where I am on this. 50 years without a Cup. They are really due for one.

Maybe at this time of year people are more busy on weekends and watch less hockey.

Why don't they start on Saturday?! The 27th? Lame. Typical NHL to drag it out until mid fking June

I wish they could agree to shorten the regular season by 4-6 games. Would love for playoffs to be over in may

The regular season is too long and is then followed by the playoffs which go on for too long.
I do however think this will be a short series. Going into the playoffs I couldn’t see how we would manage to get past the Blues. This concern turned out to not be the problem I had feared.

Hm. I like hockey.
Have you considered starting watching hockey after the super bowl or something like that if you think it is too long?

That would be so awesome if only for the sweep chain it would continue.
NYI sweep Pittsburgh.
Carolina sweeps NYI.
Boston sweeps Carolina.
St. Louis sweeps Boston?

I'm officially saying Bruins in 7, but I'm pulling for the Blues and have a friendly wager with my buddy where I'm going Blues. I like both teams and am fine with it either way.
Pretty crazy if Boston wins, as that'll be the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins all winning their respective league titles within a year of each other. Even the Celtics had a good enough team to have a sniff at it, but looks like they'll go down as the one team to blow the potential Boston sweep.
I'm so sick of Boston sports teams, but that's pretty dang impressive and I actually kinda want to see it. But I'd rather hear Gloria
