I'm certain that a guy with this type of reputation: https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/cnn...ey-1235574286/, is someone that every organization would be jumping on once he was in the market for work.

The whole point of Elon Musk buying Twitter was so no one could get cancelled. Then he cancelled Don Lemon.
Whether you agree, like Lemon, or not, you must see how Musk stating that X is a bastian for free speech, then cancelling Lemon the definition of hypocrisy.

The thing is that Musk/Twitter/X will never be considered as making the right move. If he gives everyone an open platform for speech there are complaints about too much "unsanitized" content or that unsavory people are getting a platform to spread their views. If it starts deplatforming people there is an outcry about censorship and freedom and whatnot. It is a no win situation.

Yet, for some reason, the platform was much more palatable for users before Elon purchased it.
Well, except for those rascally folks that were spreading "unsanitized" content.

I can only assume you are ignorant to what Musk actually does, and how he treats people. Of course he can't "win", he had a plan that was bound to fail, yet he doubles down on it while also being a hypocrite and banning people he doesn't like. That's his right, but it doesn't make him immune from people calling a duck a duck.

Since we're bringing up things that make Elon a liar the bots are probably 10 times worse than they ever were when Twitter was a public company. The porn, OnlyFans and crypto bots are relentless. He was never going to get all of that $44 billion back, but he could have just done a few of the key things people actually wanted it, IPO'd it and gotten a fair bit of it back. Instead, it's completely unsalvageable at this point.

So it looks like many people who didn't pay for the verified check are now reporting that they got their blue checks back randomly. Guess the pay for check thing didn't work out...
