I just hope they are either really bad or shockingly good, straddling the play-in line is just a nightmare scenario. The midseason tournament in its current form is pointless, I think it'd be fun to tie in something like winning it allows you one cap circumvention or some extra lottery balls or whatever. And it's hard not to look at Denver as decent favorites, just such a well built roster with almost no holes.

I watched some of the Spurs game, Webanyama was in foul trouble the whole time so didn't play much but his skill is obvious. His arms are freakishly long.
He gets pushed around easily though and I just hope he can stay healthy. Dirk was more solidly built and a little more nimble.
Schroder was better than I thought he would be. Playoffs are a possibility if everyone plays like they did tonight consistently.
Schroder is an intriguing piece IMO. He showed some flashes when he was in OKC and Atlanta but it never really all came together for him.
He's generally been good for 3-4 win shares per season which is solid but not great, but at the same time never really has been given the ball to run with the teams offense as their clear starting PG.
You'd think his confidence is at an all time high too. Coming off an MVP performance at the World Cup and leading Germany to gold.
Schroder, Barnes, Anunoby, Siakam, Poeltl is fine as a starting 5, to me the real question mark is how good is their bench beyond Trent Jr and Achiuwa.

He's not human. He's not mortal.

Meh, as far as I'm concerned Nick Nurse's ego went out of whack the championship season and he messed up his legacy here instead of walking away professionally. Appreciate the lead up but man he grew up a big head.
I hope they can shortly drop the "We The North" tagline. It's done. Rather have nothing. As for the above court, I'd like to keep that for a couple seasons. Looks sharp!
