Poirier adding some highlights over the last couple games. Great goal last game and a sweet assist tonight. Rest of the highlights were just solid plays, nothing exceptional, though it can be hard to tell with just the one camera angle. Seems like another tidy win.
Disappointing to see an elite team with like 3 people in the stands when the Flames are still filling the house.
I think the issue the Wranglers have for attendance is very much a result of a terrible schedule. The games they’ve had on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays have been pretty well attended (even more so than the Hitmen), but with the Flames getting first choice of venue dates, and the Hitmen schedule already being made prior to the relocation, the Wranglers have some brutal midweek home dates.
The AHL schedule is usually very weekend based, the wrangler one seems to be an anomaly.
I wouldn’t be shocked if next years schedule is better and they split the available weekend home game time slots with the Hitmen

I am excited to see what Pettersen is going to show in camp next year, he has really elevated his game this year. Watching the last nights highlights and he is all over them. He has really improved this year, still only 22

Would he be a chance for a few games at the end of the year?
