Strange to say a guy who was serving for the match up two sets to one just lost, but Thiem probably just lost. Bad time to choke it away with your worst serving game of the match. Expect Nadal to cruise from here.

For Thiem's sake I'm glad he closed that out, not sure he could recover from the mental scars of choking that away.

Well, that's pretty much all she wrote for this tournament... Call it 17 for Djokovic and back up to #1. Catching up pretty quickly now.

While it sucks to see Nadal lose I'm glad it was to his little brother. Rest up King for the clay court season.

Thiem was absolutely hammering the ball today, he has shown the last couple years that he is close to winning a Grand Slam. I actually think Thiem has the game to beat Djokovic and I hope he wins the whole thing. Thiem has won 4 out of the last 5 against him so don't count him out.

Thiem is 7-2 against the big three since the start of last year. But one of those losses is Rafa at RG and as we know Novak in Aussie is pretty close to as dominant. Needs to have an amazing serving day to have a chance, but he can hang on the ground for sure.

Yeah, that tweet is right... Nadal can #### right off with that complaint, and as usual the ESPN call is borderline propagandistic.

I like how they made this one rule change to target one player specifically yet since it's been introduced he's won what 4 Grand Slams, clearly it's doing a good job slowing him down If they hate then let 'em hate and watch the Grand Slams pile up

After a long point, the ump has discretion to start the shot clock later than usual to allow more time for the noise to die down and give players a little more time to catch their breathe yet she clearly didn't do that. She's like a cop that gives an old lady a ticket for jay walking on an empty street. Sure by the letter of the law it's a violation but they should use more common sense.

There's only been a shot clock since the 2018 USO, so only two majors for Mr. Ass Picker. I would absolutely love to see this entire Big Three era replayed with a full time shot clock. Would be fascinated to see if Nadal and Novak adjust their pre-shot routines, or if in Nadal's case his OCD is so extreme he would just fall apart.

Just a reminder that Gaby Dabrowski and her mixed doubles partner Henri Kontinen are in action tonight on Margaret Court Arena. Just have the tv on the Flames - Oilers game and the laptop streaming the tennis courtesy of tsn.ca

I know we are all watching Flames-Oilers but this a great first semi so far. A womens set with no breaks!

Remarkable. Kenin wins in straights. Barty had 2 set points in both sets.

Gaby Dabrowski and Henri Kontinen are into the mixed doubles semi-finals following a 7-5 7-6 win over Chan and Dodig.
