Default Cringiest Moments

I was re-watching the original Star Trek, and discovered that I had actually not seen all the episodes.

And then I came across this little nugget, from a terrible episode called "Plato's Stepchildren," which is one of the cringiest moments in television history:

What other scenes are just as terrible?

At least he maintained his normal understated approach.

Ya, season 3 had a lot of crap. There are a few gems, but most are pretty bad- even worse than Plato's Stepchildren.

You are doing it wrong, I'll allow it.

Elizabeth Berkley was her name.

I have a great memory of going to see that movie with about 14 guys from my rugby club.

Groovy trumps cringe, though.

Yeah, that Skylar crooning to Ted was pretty bad. One of only a handful of missteps in Breaking Bad tho.

If we're gonna bag on the Shat then there's this. Maybe the most asinine thing ever captured on celluloid.

How can you make a stripper the least sexy thing every. Cast Elizabeth Berkley and her almost painful looking lap dance. I swear that movie was almost a contraceptive.

I love his musical stylings, they're so bad and bizarre and then he mixes in something like Common Man which is brilliant.

I don't know if The Office clips really count as they were intentionally cringey.

I've been on a Hitchcock binge lately and, in retrospect, a lot of his films have some pretty cringey moments, although knowing him that may have been intentional.

One in particular is the "I am Ambrose Chappell" taxidermist scuffle scene from The Man Who Knew Too Much. It's so awkward and silly, and when it cuts to the stuffed lion at the end as if he's saying "what the hell was that all about?" I almost fell over laughing.

I can't find an embeddable clip, but here's a link to the full scene from TCM: https://www.tcm.com/video/205011/man...rose-chappell/

Conan compiled many of Walker, Texas Ranger’s cringiest moments, but this one takes the cake.

Basically any scene from Batman and Robin, but the credit card one will do.
