Super solid win. Really not much else to say when the good guys put on a clinic like that. Feels good.

I've always liked players like Ryan that can produce from the bottom 6 with only 10-12 minutes and also move up to a top 6 roll and not look out of place.

There is versatility and depth on this team that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Exciting!
Ryan deserves a bit of time on the top line. He has been playing lights out. Can't ask for anything more from a 4th line player.

Game Takes:
Flames 5 Rangers 1

- Tkachuk with five points on five goals

honestly, I think the Ryan line has been the third line for much of the season... Ryan has been far more effective than both Jankowski and Bennett and on a far more consistent basis

I love how he references the 4 game losing streak “at the most important part of the season”.

Fun fact: the Oilers have suffered four 4 game losing streaks already this season (with several of those being longer than 4 games). They have won 4 games in a row only twice.

The Flames have won 4 games in a row four times (incl a 7 game win streak) and lost 4 games in a row only twice.

But yeah, keep talking about how we’re sliding.

I take full credit for Tkachuk's night. Rocking his jersey I bought yesterday and picking up last minute tickets and all....

Its weird that at this time of year for the first time in almost a generation, that outside of San Jose the Out of Town scoreboard is almost zero stress.

Winnipeg is 9 points back, and the Flames hold the tie breaker and are 11 points back with 12 games left.

Nashville really won't catch the Flames, nor will Vegas, so outside of scoreboard watching the sharks, I can look at the OOT and give a big enormous "meh"

Except for Edmonton who I laugh with, deeply and loudly with a brassy tone like James Earl Jones.

Never tired of reading the Oilers fans.... so salty.

Glad the Flames put the hammer down and played their game. Tkachuk was a beast and Rittich played well.

The love from the Ranger fans was nice. Funny how a team that has embraced the tank can compliment the opposing team/players but a team that has the exact same points as the Rangers has nothing but diarrhea coming out of their mouths. Johnny Shrimpy, Sean MoNoHands, Elias Lindholmy. That’s the best you got?

That’s remarkable.

Edit: so remarkable that it is factually incorrect.

The Flames are closing in on having a 30 point lead on the Oilers.

Of all the years for their fans to beak off about their team or the Flames you would think this would be the year they might want to take a seat and just not type anything. Maybe just take the rest of the year off.

That's what the Tweet seems to suggest, but Kucherov had 5 vs Edmonton and Columbus this year.

I'm sure Kucherov must have had a 5 point game or two...
